Terms & Conditions

This is an agreement between you and The Can Man Cape Cod (and its affiliates, “The Can Man Cape Cod” or “we”). Before using The Can Man Cape Cod, please read the Terms and Conditions of Service, the Recurring Payment Terms and Conditions, and the other applicable rules, policies, and terms posted on The Can Man Cape Cod website (collectively, this “Agreement”). By using The Can Man Cape Cod, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not accept the terms of this Agreement, then you may not use The Can Man Cape Cod.

When signing up for the One Time Service, you agree to have contracted with The Can Man Cape Cod to perform the service of taking out and returning your waste and recycling cans at the address specified for one single trash collection day. You agree that this is a non-recurring Service Contract and you agree to pay The Can Man Cape Cod in advance of the services to be provided for that trash day.

When signing up for the Starter Service, you agree to have contracted with The Can Man Cape Cod to perform the service of taking out and returning your waste and recycling cans at the address specified every other trash collection day. You agree that this is a monthly Service Contract and you agree to pay The Can Man Cape Cod monthly in advance of the services to be provided for that month.

When signing up for the Premium Service, you agree to have contracted with The Can Man Cape Cod to perform the service of taking out and returning your waste and recycling cans at the address specified every trash collection day, or once a week. You agree that this is a monthly Service Contract and you agree to pay The Can Man Cape Cod monthly in advance of the services to be provided for that month.

When signing up for the Business Service, you agree to have contracted with The Can Man Cape Cod to perform the service of taking out and returning your waste and recycling cans at the address specified every trash collection day, or once a week. You agree that this is a monthly Service Contract and you agree to pay The Can Man Cape Cod monthly in advance of the services to be provided for that month.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

“The Can Man Cape Cod” means The Can Man Cape Cod’s garbage can concierge service and related services.
“Software” means all software (including any updates or new versions), and any related documentation, that we make available to you for use in connection with The Can Man Cape Cod.
“Helpers” means persons employed or contracted by The Can Man Cape Cod to provide can concierge services.

Home Access

By submitting your service subscription request online, you are authorizing The Can Man Cape Cod and its helpers to access your property (or other location) that you designate for the purpose of taking out and returning your waste and recycling cans. By subscribing to our service, you are confirming that you have the right to authorize The Can Man Cape Cod and its helpers to access the designated property. It is your responsibility to ensure that The Can Man Cape Cod or its helpers have full access to your waste and recycling cans on the scheduled service dates. Should The Can Man Cape Cod or its helpers arrive and be unable to provide service due to lack of access, you shall not be entitled to a credit or refund.

Service

The Can Man Cape Cod or its helpers will take out your waste and/or recycling cans on your designated trash day. After your waste and/or recycling items have been picked up, The Can Man Cape Cod will return your cans to the original storage location.

Starter Service – 2 waste cans + 1 recycling can (Bi-Monthly) for 1 trash day per week.
Premium Service – 4 waste cans + 1 recycling can (Bi-Monthly) for 1 trash day per week.
Business Service – 6 waste cans + 2 recycling cans (Bi-Monthly) for 1 trash day per week.
One Time Service - 2 waste cans + 1 recycling can for 1 trash day.

Can Access

You must ensure The Can Man Cape Cod or its helpers have access to your waste and recycling cans on the scheduled service day, including: gate entry codes, lock combinations, security guard verification, and pets relocated from storage areas. If The Can Man Cape Cod or its helpers are unable to access your cans, services will not be performed and you shall not be entitled to a credit or refund. The Can Man Cape Cod reserves the right to decline service for any reason.

Pricing

Starter Service – $40.00/month.
Premium Service – $55.00/month
Business Service – $65.00/month
One Time Service - 25.00

(Effective as of October 1, 2025. Prices are subject to change with 2 months’ notice.

Billing & Payments

Service is billed monthly in advance.
All applicable local, State, and Federal taxes apply.
Payments are recurring unless you cancel.
By enrolling, you authorize The Can Man Cape Cod to bill your selected Payment Method automatically.

Recurring Payments Terms & Conditions

By accepting these terms and conditions, you authorize The Can Man Cape Cod to bill and charge your selected Payment Method according to your Payment Plan.

Services automatically renew at the end of each term.
Payment Method must remain current and valid.
Cancellation requires 1 month’s notice (3 months for special pricing).

Cancellation

Service may be canceled by either party with 1 month’s advance notice, except in cases where special volume pricing applies (3 months’ notice required). No partial refunds will be issued.

Customer Responsibilities

Trash Cans - All trash cans must have a cover that fits.

Pets – must be contained during service.

Vehicles – we are not responsible for damage caused by vehicles hitting cans.

Safety Issues – Residents must maintain compliance with local codes.

Snow

In the event of snow, The Can Man Cape Cod will follow the local town or company schedule for delays or cancellations. If snow accumulation exceeds 3 inches, it is the customer’s responsibility to clear a space for trash can placement and pickup.

If the area is not cleared, trash cans will not be moved, and no refund will be issued.

For an additional fee, The Can Man Cape Cod can provide snow removal services to clear a spot for can placement.

Customer Satisfaction

If service is not satisfactory, notify The Can Man Cape Cod within 7 days so we can resolve it.

Disclaimer

The Can Man Cape Cod is not responsible for damage to cans, property, or vehicles caused by weather, accidents, misuse, or acts of nature.
